Thing 8 Communication Web 2.0 Style

I used to use IM quite a bit. I had a Yahoo Messenger account as well as AOL and MSN. I haven't used any of them in a few years. Most of the people I was in contact with via messenger stopped using it as well. I guess with all the viruses and bugs out there, people are skeptical about downloading programs onto their pc's off of the internet. I am. As for text messaging....I JUST DONT GET IT. I mean, I get it. I get the concept of it. I just don't understand the phenominon of text messaging recently. Why would you want to cramp up your fingers on those tiny phone keys when it's SO much easier to dial a number and push send??? TTYL :)
